Once the monitoring and analysis of data and information pertaining to technology availability is complete, opportunities
for optimization must be identified. The improvement suggestions for technology availability can be recommendations for
modification to the overall technology design and architecture. Where investment decisions are required, the associated
costs of each option should be included. Details of potential benefits that exist for planned technology upgrades should be
detailed. In some cases, improvement suggestions can also extend to other processes like Event Management, Incident
Management, etc.
The Availability Manager must work along with the Engagement Manager on the improvement suggestions, track them to closure
and evaluate the effectiveness of the same.
